The Technology Integrator is the linchpin that enables the software, design, and content to function together for the benefit of the customer.  The TI is the person that makes it all work.  As such, we're looking for folks with any of a variety of skills and interests.

• Basic image creation & editing skills
• Translating design comps into flexible, usable code templates
• Developing web-based applications using JAVA and JSP

Technology Integrator Job Description

Works with Solertium clients to configure and customize Internet-based software applications to suit individual business needs. Continually develops and applies practical skills in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and JSP. Works with graphic designers and software architects to create professional, sophisticated, functional web sites and web-based applications. Tests and validates new software products, providing critical feedback to software architects and marketing analysts.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Employee will work directly with clients in a business setting, and therefore must be friendly, professional, courteous, and have good English communication skills.
• Solertium clients are largely non-technical. Employee must either already possess, or show aptitude to develop, the ability to map non-technical business goals onto a technical plan of action. Ideal proof of this ability is verifiably successful past experience with developing web sites or software applications for others – whether business related, or for friends, family, or non-business affiliations.
• Employee must be thoroughly at ease with modern computer and web technology, and familiar with the current landscape of consumer-oriented hosted Internet applications and their uses, e.g. Google, Blogger, MySpace, Flickr, etc. This provides the necessary grounding to understand the business-oriented hosted Internet applications being implemented by Solertium.
• Employee must be excited about technology and its applications and able to communicate excitement about Solertium’s products specifically, and Internet technology in general.
• Employee must be an inquisitive self-starter, not afraid to ask questions or strike out independently in a promising direction.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Existing knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, and/or Java. Note: this is not a software engineering position. However, a cursory knowledge of Java programming is helpful to understanding how best to configure and customize Solertium software.
• Knowledge of at least one non-English language. Solertium’s products facilitate the development of multi-language, multi-currency applications. A limiting factor on our ability to expand internationally is the availability of qualified integrators speaking a given language.
• Interest and willingness to travel on business as availability and schedule permit.
