Managed Infrastructure
The world is now full of capable sources for hosting and co-location of web sites and Internet-available applications. Large enterprises can build solid long-term relationships with their network service providers, and have the necessary IS resources in-house to ensure that they are getting value out of their outsourced hosting.

Unfortunately for most small to medium sized businesses, it’s all just a confusing mess. Transit rates? Bandwidth cap? SLAs? Virtual hosting? Uptime: is “five nines” enough? What’s the difference really between the $5/month offer from Vendor A and the $50/month offer from Vendor B? Should I prepay and get the 10% discount? Over the years, we’ve seen small business operators losing a lot of sleep and wasting a lot of time trying to sort through the alternatives.

Solertium offers three levels of Managed Infrastructure service for users of any of our software products. At every level, we answer the most significant question of all: who do you turn to if things go wrong? We’ll be there for you, with an understanding of your application, a sharp troubleshooting team, and the ability to get problems sorted out quickly on your behalf.

100% Managed Infrastructure

For a truly painless experience, we will handle 100% of your outsourced hosting needs, with the same care as we exercise in provisioning our own mission-critical systems. We will design a solution to meet your needs, specify it, order it, configure and maintain it, monitor it 24/7 and even back it up as your needs require. All services will be purchased in your name, but we will act as your agent in all respects, so that you never have to deal with any issue related to your outsourced hosting. We will centralize all billing and will be the first line of support.

Managed Infrastructure

With the standard Managed Infrastructure plan, you select from several standard hosting configurations that we have established with known reliable vendors, at some of the best rates in the hosting market. We will facilitate the ordering process and ensure that you get the right products to run your software. We will provide Backup Technical Contact service (described below), and provide monitoring, backup, and maintenance services on a time and materials basis, as requested by you.

No matter where you choose to host your Solertium software, we will be pleased to be registered with your hosting provider as a “technical contact” authorized to answer technical questions, initiate trouble tickets, and perform maintenance on your behalf. Charges for this service are limited to time and material costs.
