EGO Mail is our small business mail and collaboration service, hosted at our fanatical data center provider, Rackspace.

EGO Mail is an affordable solution to the small business owner's need for business-quality email, contacts, and shared calendar functionality.  Your staff members can access their mail accounts through most web browsers (our staffers run the gamut, using both Firefox and Internet Explorer from their PCs, Camino and Safari on Macs,  Firefox on OpenSUSE Linux and Ubuntu ... etc).  If you prefer, you can also synchronize your mail accounts with MS Outlook and Apple iSync.  All hosted EGO Mail accounts from Solertium also come free with Mobile, for Exchange-style synchronization to Windows Mobile devices (see ** below for additional instructions).

Mailboxes are backed up in full each week, with daily incremental local backups.  The server itself is backed up in its entirety by Rackspace.

** Windows Mobile 5.0 Root Certificate: To enable secure mail synchronization using SSL, you must install the UserTrust root certificate on your mobile device.  This certificate is preinstalled on desktop systems, but not Windows Mobile systems.  Download http://www.solertium.com/certs/utnroot.cer to your mobile device (just type the URL into Internet Explorer on your mobile device, open the file, and agree to install it).
